The Tropical Gangster Island Timepiece is named for the way it presents itself when worn. From a top-down view, the bezel-set sunrise shell sits on the wrist much like the face of a watch—centered, grounded, and impossible to ignore. It’s not about telling time. It’s about owning it.

This piece represents a true collaboration between Aloha Bangles and Tropical Gangster—the familiar structure and stamp work of our heritage cuffs paired with bold, bezel-set ocean elements that push the design forward.

The sunrise shell forms the primary “dial,” glowing with natural iridescence, while a secondary accent of teal blue sea glass is set just below it, creating balance and visual rhythm. Each element is individually bezel-set in gold and joined on a single backplate, forming a unified, sculptural composition.

The cuff itself is forged from our Aloha Bangles signature 4mm wire, hand-shaped and stamped with classic Hawaii icon stamps. It’s a silhouette we’re known for—reinterpreted through a more expressive, statement-driven lens.

Crafted in 14 karat gold filled, the cuff delivers both durability and warmth. The bezel walls and solder are gold, while the hidden backplate beneath the stones is sterling silver—chosen intentionally for strength and long-term wear. Every step is completed by hand in our Kailua, Oʻahu studio.
